Join us for a practical, evidence-based one-day course designed for rehabilitation professionals who want to confidently integrate TECAR therapy into clinical practice.
This course combines foundational injury science with hands-on application, covering tissue healing, pain modulation, neuromuscular adaptation, and clinical decision-making. Through guided labs, demonstrations, and discussion, participants will learn how to use TECAR therapy across the rehabilitation continuum and combine it with movement and manual techniques for real-world orthopedic and performance cases.

What You'll Learn
Over this intensive one-day course, participants will:
- Understand the physiological effects, indications, contraindications, and safety considerations of TECAR radiofrequency therapy.
- Learn when to use capacitive and resistive modes, and how to adjust frequency, power, and dosage based on tissue type and stage of injury.
- Apply TECAR therapy during acute and subacute rehabilitation to address pain, inflammation, edema, and early mobility restrictions.
- Combine TECAR therapy with manual therapy, myofascial techniques, and therapeutic exercise.
- Build TECAR-assisted exercise progressions that support neuromuscular activation and functional movement.
- Strengthen clinical reasoning for return to participation and return to performance decisions.
- Work through case-based applications involving common orthopedic and sport-related scenarios.

Denis Donovan is a physical therapist and clinical educator with extensive experience across orthopedic care, sports medicine, and performance-focused rehabilitation. He leads onboarding and trainings for clinicians across the country through Winback Academy USA and has worked with professional, collegiate, and high school athletes across a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
He is also the owner of Muscle Mechanic Mobile Wellness, a concierge rehabilitation and wellness practice in South Florida. Denis holds TPI Level 1 and Medical 2 certifications, is certified in dry needling, and has consulted with organizations including the Los Angeles Dodgers, Tampa Bay Rays, New York Jets, LSU Tigers, and other professional and collegiate programs.
