Course Overview
Bring TECAR Therapy into real orthopedic treatment—and into performance-driven training environments. This two-day, evidence-based course blends lecture, live demos, lab practice, and discussion so you can confidently choose parameters, apply protocols, and build plans that make sense for upper extremity, lower extremity, and spine cases.
The course is split into two distinct modules. You can attend Day 1 only, Day 2 only, or both days.

What You'll Learn
Over two immersive days, participants will:
- Explain the biophysical principles and physiological mechanisms behind TECAR Therapy in orthopedic rehab.
- Choose indications, contraindications, and safety parameters with confidence.
- Apply TECAR techniques for upper extremity, lower extremity, and spine conditions.
- Build orthopedic treatment plans that combine TECAR with manual therapy + therapeutic exercise.
- Use TECAR within sports performance sessions across warm-up, activation/corrective, performance training, and post-training phases (mode selection, placement, dosing, timing).
- Design evidence-informed performance programs based on biomechanics, training load, and athlete needs.
Course Schedule
Day 1 – Orthopedic Foundations (8 CEUs)
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Advanced physiology of TECAR Therapy
- Tendon pathology + TECAR applications
- Upper extremity applications (rotator cuff, scapula/thoracic biomechanics, adhesive capsulitis, elbow injuries)
- Spine applications (lumbar + SI joint pathologies)
- Lower extremity applications (non-op hip, post-op knee, ankle sprains, chronic ankle instability)
TECAR-Based Sports Performance System (6 CEUs)
8:00 AM – 3:00 PM • CARE+ emphasis
Integrate TECAR across every phase of training:
- Warm-up: raise tissue temperature, improve circulation, increase joint mobility, reduce injury risk
- Activation/Corrective: support neuromuscular activation, recruitment, proprioception, movement efficiency
- Performance training: integrate into strength/speed/power/agility to support load tolerance + output
- Post-training: add TECAR to support blood flow, reduce stiffness, and support tissue regeneration
